Institute for Inspiring Children's Futures

Inspiring Children’s Futures is a partnership based at the University of Strathclyde. Its collective vision is to ensure that children and young people – particularly those facing adversity – have the support they need to reach their full potential.

Guided by children’s human rights and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the partnership works to identify and dismantle the structural barriers that prevent children from thriving. By collaborating with a wide range of interdisciplinary partners, the initiative aims to:

• Build the evidence base: Developing robust research to inform better decision-making.

• Strengthen political will: Advocating for the systemic changes needed to support children.

• Improve policy and practice: Creating effective responses for those most at risk of being ‘left behind’.
