Defence for Children International – Greece

Defence for Children International – Greece (DCI–Greece) works to promote and protect the rights of all children. The organisation runs a Child Rights Helpdesk providing legal assistance to migrant children and guidance to professionals working on their cases. It also delivers training for lawyers and practitioners.

DCI–Greece monitors the implementation of existing laws, identifies gaps in legislation, and advocates for necessary reforms in policy and practice. Its key areas of expertise include children on the move, legal aid, juvenile justice, and strategic litigation.
