Defence for Children International – Czechia

Defence for Children International – Czechia (DCI–Czechia) works to promote children’s rights and raise awareness among the public and decision-makers. The organisation engages directly with the political sphere, including by organising seminars in the Czech Parliament. It also acts as an advisory body, cooperating with ministries during the development of new legislation.

DCI–Czechia works closely with national children’s and youth parliaments, supporting young people to take an active role in shaping their future. Its main areas of expertise include child participation and juvenile justice.
