Marta Gil

Marta Gil is the Deputy Head of the Access to Justice for Children & Youth programme at the Terre des Hommes Foundation (Switzerland). She is a dedicated international professional and passionate advocate for child rights and gender equality, with over 17 years of experience working towards lasting social change.

Marta has worked with and collaborated alongside governments, law firms, academic institutions (including USJ Lebanon, Leiden University in the Child Rights Master's programme, UCLY Lyon), (I)NGOs (ECPAT, Oxfam, Terre des Hommes, ActionAid), UN agencies (UNICEF and UN Women), and international justice mechanisms (European Court of Human Rights, expert collaboration with the ICC), supporting efforts to ensure the welfare and protection of vulnerable groups—particularly women, children, and youth—across the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and MENA regions. She has also been teaching with the Arab Master’s Programme since 2019.
