Judit Geller

Judit Geller is an experienced human rights lawyer and advocate for women’s and children’s rights, with expertise in leading, managing, and implementing strategic litigation, legal advocacy, and human rights projects across Europe.

Judit has over 15 years of experience in strategic litigation. Prior to joining PILnet, as a senior lawyer for the European Roma Rights Centre, she represented victims of discrimination in domestic courts, the European Court of Human Rights, and UN Treaty bodies, focusing on advancing equality and access to justice for women and children.

As a senior legal officer at PILnet, Judit promotes pro bono legal practice in Europe by developing pro bono collaborations that aim to use the law as a tool for social change, benefitting all, including the most excluded and vulnerable. She currently focuses on identifying opportunities for more impactful engagement of pro bono legal work in support of civil society organisations that are building sustainable environments, addressing the global climate emergency, and advancing climate justice.

Judit holds a Master’s Degree in Law, an LLM in Children’s Rights, and a BA in Public Administration. She is admitted to the Budapest Bar of Hungary.
