The Aire Centre
The AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe) has been litigating before the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union since its founding in 1993. It has been involved in over 100 cases.
The Centre provides litigation expertise in a range of forms. This includes acting as legal representatives, advising on procedural and substantive law, and intervening as an expert third party in cases where it is not directly representing applicants.
The AIRE Centre works to ensure that individuals can effectively enjoy their rights under European law. It offers a unique service focused on the relationship between the European legal systems and international human rights law.
