Deutsche Kinderhilfswerk
Deutsche Kinderhilfswerk (the German Children’s Fund) has been working for over 50 years to promote a child-friendly society in Germany. It is committed to the full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with a particular focus on child participation and tackling child poverty.
The organisation develops and implements projects to strengthen children’s rights in society and advocates for children’s interests in policymaking. It also promotes children’s rights in legislative and administrative processes.
As part of the implementation of the Council of Europe’s Children’s Rights Strategy, Deutsche Kinderhilfswerk supports the development of child-friendly justice systems and advances children’s rights within justice processes.
