12th European Forum on the rights of the child: Where we are and where we want to go

An crucial event for Children's rights defenders

The European Forum on the rights of the child is an annual conference organised by the European Commission. It gathers key actors from EU Member States (as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the Western Balkans), international organisations, NGOs, Ombudspersons for children, practitioners, academics and EU institutions to promote good practice on the rights of the child.

This year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of United Nation Convention on the rights of the child and the 10th anniversary of entry into force of the EU charter of the fundamental right. With this in mind, the aim of the 12th European Forum on the rights of the child is to take stock and look at what has been achieved to better promote and protect the rights of the child in the EU, and to discuss the main challenges ahead.

A perfect opportunity to present the CFJ European Network !

For this occasion, the Coordinator of the European Commission for the Rights of the child gave us the chance to present our newly created Network to the participants. We'll have the honor to talk about our initiative, and maybe gather new members or partners.
